The blazer has a slightly oversized fit, collar with lapel and pocket flap with fake pocket – the pocket opening is instead hidden in the front side seam. The jacket features a single button closure, back slits and a mock sleeve slit. The pattern includes an unlined version as well as a lined sleeve version. 

Suggested Fabrics:  Medium weight woven fabrics. The blue blazer in the images is sewn with a wool suiting fabric.

Fabric Requirements: 

110-120 cm fabric width
XS 2.9 m / S 2.9 m / M 3.1 m / L 3.2 m

140-150 cm fabric width
XS 2.4 m / S 2.4 m / M 2.5 m / L 2.5 m

Lining fabric 140-150 cm - optional
XS-L 0.7 m

You will also need:

  • Matching thread
  • Fusible interfacing
  • Front button 2 cm diameter: 1 pc
  • Sleeve buttons 1 cm diameter: 8 pcs
  • Bias binding for bottom hem (optional): XS 120 cm, S 125 cm, M 135 cm, L 145 cm  
  • Bias binding for bottom hem + front and back facing edges (optional): XS 285 cm, S 300 cm, M 315 cm, L 330 cm
  • Small size shoulder pads (optional): 1 pair
  • For removable shoulder pads (optional): Velcro (hook and loop) 2 x 8 cm

Make more with this pattern:

  • Skip the pocket flaps and side slits and add a wrap belt
  • Lengthen it into a coat
  • Make the pocket flaps in a contrasting colour together with the colour of the buttons
